This is one of the most difficult projects given to us by Vodafone in the past 7 years.

Vodafone decided to change the technical platform that supports its websites. They have asked for our assistance in porting the entire online content to the new Content Management platform.
The project was coordinated by Vodafone's technical division together with external vendors. This time, we had different tasks like:
- consulting the vendors that implemented the templates
- testing and troubleshooting
- migrating the entire content of vodafone.ro to the new platform
- developing a skin (CSS/JS) for the code generated by the WCMS
- designing and developing the html code needed for implementing portlets
- technical support for the duration of the project
It was difficult to port and migrate all the content and functionality to the new platform mostly because the way a web publishing application differs from a generic content publishing platform.
The large number of local and foreign vendors and teams involved in the project and their background (java developers, network admins, project and product managers with different skills) made this a difficult project.
