Under the slogan "Make someone happy!" Vodafone has launched an interactive game around Christmas time addressed especially to young people.
In 2006, Vodafone wanted to repeat the Xmas 2005 experience, with the same brand and marketing objectives, but also with some new ones:
- to meet the expectations of those who had played "We work for Santa Claus!" a year before
- to increase youngster's sympathy for Vodafone (starting March, the Vodafone brand had been fully implemented, renouncing to co-branding with Connex)
- to convey Vodafone brand values
In order to achieve these goals, an online game has been made, based on the ATL campaign concept, communicated under the slogan "Make someone happy!."
The game's goal was to involve the user in making happy as many characters as possible, bringing them, in the shortest time, certain objects that they had lost in the bluster of Christmas. To encourage participation in the game, it was presented as a contest with prizes.
GreenPixel involvement meant:

- illustrations
- implementation
- e-mailing campaign
- monitoring and results evaluation
Following the 3 weeks of play over 11,000 visitors have entered the minisite and about 45,000 games have been played the game. With our help, Vodafone has managed to meet the targeted objectives.
