The first project ever made on the experimentalist platform was a design contest for Grolsch beer cans. The stakes were high, there was a cash prize and the honor of seeing the design on shelf on the local market. The initiative was a first in Romania, the product packaging was in the users' hands.

The contest meant developing a voting system and a 3D display mode to better understand the limitations and possibilities of the can's shape and size. In the first week of contest, 500 accounts were created and 200 designs submitted. Till the end, the competition gathered 12 000 votes for the 385 ideas illustrated.

The quality and the significant number of designs, proved the success of the online campaign.
