Pepsi campaign with Proximity

In 2008, Pepsi Romania decided to use the power of social networks to promote Youniverse campaign and to draw attention to the site that was to be released.

The campaign was the first of its kind for Pepsi, promotion through social networks never having been used by the company before. The large-scale action focused on the global passion for soccer and on player preferences. In the teasing phase, Pepsi has replaced the official site with a minisite, which presented successively big names in international football. From France (Henry) to Brazil (Ronaldinho), the major players have promoted Pepsi's image in front of worldwide fans.

GreenPixel worked closely with Proximity to achieve the objectives set, starting off this campaign. Pepsi Youniverse site was launched simultaneously with the TV spot running, especially designed for the campaign. Among the site's functionality was also the access to international spot's making-of section and upload section for sport related videos made by users.
