The event served to promote in an appropriate context, results of the survey on how the online environment is seen as space for bussiness development of SMEs and entrepreneurs.

The event took place between June 11th-12th 2009 in Cluj-Napoca, at the Culture House of Students and was structured so that the first day was dedicated to presenting the study's conclusions undertaken by FPP, to theorizing the main concepts and modules strictly necessary for any manager; the second day continued with three workshop applied modules where case studies were discussed and particular solutions for business levels were sought after.

Next to the other six invited speakers, Marius Deak focused his presentation on possible advices in crisis situations. From 'Teach Excel' to 'Be open and ... brave!' the main ideas were elaborated. Among them we specify only a few which made the atmosphere less tense, on the one hand, but arose questions marks for those listening, on the other hand:

  • If you can make a site better, doesn't necessarily mean that you can do a business better
  • The crisis brings as many opportunities as threats. Explore them!
  • You have enough time to beat Google, but in 2010 - after you've fist have survived
  • Sell what you know best. To be a "full-service" costs too much
  • Assume that this is the normal
  • Try to analyze the business before the product.
